Job summary

ASL in the United Kingdom seeks a motivated Design Engineer (mechanical and electro-mechanical) to join a prestigious global engineering manufacturing client. Job description

A motivated Design Engineer (mechanical design, electro-mechanical design) is required to join our exclusive global engineering manufacturing client. This exciting design engineer role would suit a degree or HNC/HND or degree qualified mechanical or electromechanical design professional with good CAD experience (ideally SOLDWORKS or similar) and hands on experience of machinery design, special purpose machine design, process machine design within the factory industrial manufacturing production industry.

The ideal Design Engineer candidate will have the below skills and experiences;

• Experience of machinery design, special purpose machine design within an industrial, manufacturing, production engineering, factory, process machinery, production factory industry or similar
• HND/ HNC engineering / Mechanical Design/ Electro mechanical engineering degree qualifications or equivalent (B.eng, M.eng etc).
• Good practical experience of CAD (SOLIDWORKS advantageous but AUTOCAD other CAD packages are suitable)
• Design experience in pharmaceutical machinery, FMCG, Food process machinery, drinks, beverages manufacturing or similar industries would be of interest
• Awareness of machinery safety standards and process machinery applications
• Full UK driving licence and passport as there will be occasional travel to European and international offices ( for training etc) and client sites, unfortunately my client cannot offer sponsorship for visas work permits

Desirable

• Experience knowledge of pneumatics, thermal, steam, gas thermal oxidiser, burner process etc would be advantageous
• Any CNC experience, CNC machinery, CAM ed (desirable)
