Job summary

Gregory Martin International in Bristol is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer / Senior Systems Engineer Consultant to lead systems engineering efforts across defence projects. You will shape requirements management, MBSE, and architecture and work with DoORS tools.

Ideal candidates have UK defence experience, SC or DV clearance, and a track record leading consultancy teams and bids, with Chartered Engineer status or equivalent.

Qualifications

• Significant defence or consultancy background is required.
• Experience in requirements management across Defence Lines of Development.
• Experience with MBSE and system architecture in consultancy contexts.

Responsibilities

• Vision and strategy development for the department in defence context.
• Lead teams, coach staff, and drive performance.
• Develop and maintain systems engineering service offerings.
• People coaching on SE tools and techniques; stay current with the profession.
• Support bids and technical proposals; provide technical reviews.
