Job summary

Gregory Martin International is seeking a Cost Engineer Consultant – Defence based in Bristol. You will deliver cost estimates and modelling support for UK MoD programmes, engaging with government bodies, international institutions and prime contractors to inform procurement decisions.

The role requires extensive experience in cost engineering within a P3M environment, with strong analytical and presentation skills, and readiness to travel across the UK.

Qualifications

• Degree level education with a professional cost-engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Defence sector experience or military background.
• Strong statistics, parametric modelling, sampling and risk analysis knowledge.
• Experience with investment appraisals, trade studies, business cases and cost-benefit analysis.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost estimates and modelling support to aid MoD and industry decisions.
• Lead workshops with customers and SMEs to improve cost accuracy and understanding of project costs.
• Develop robust cost models and support bid-winning processes including PQQ/ITT/ITN.
