Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Principal CS&A Engineer to lead the design, delivery and governance of major civil/structural projects at Westlakes Moor Row, Cumbria. The role demands technical leadership across disciplines, shaping options and defining robust solutions for high‑value buildings and assets.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team, manage client relationships, and contribute to proposals and strategy while maintaining safety and quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Proven leadership of complex, high-value projects.
• Extensive post-graduate experience.
• Ability to present information to a target audience.
• Track record of client management and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of Roof Refurbishment options.
• Act as technical authority on complex and high‑risk projects.
• Manage a team of Engineers and coordinate cross‑discipline works.
• Provide technical governance, reviews and approvals.
• Manage major client relationships and trusted advisor role.
• Contribute to business strategy, work‑winning and proposals.
