ES Recruit is seeking an experienced Principal Civil & Structural Engineer to lead delivery on a major nuclear refurbishment at the Sellafield site. You will provide technical leadership across civil and structural activities, ensuring designs meet the highest standards of nuclear safety, quality and compliance.

The role can be done remotely with one day in Warrington or Cumbria every two weeks, and offers a comprehensive package including up to a 20% bonus, enhanced pension and private

• Lead the delivery of civil and structural engineering work packages across complex nuclear projects
• Provide technical leadership, design assurance and approval of engineering deliverables
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure safe and compliant project delivery
• Support construction activities through technical guidance, site support and resolution of engineering issues
• Ensure compliance with nuclear regulations, engineering standards and project quality requirements

Job description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Principal CS&A Engineer to join a major nuclear infrastructure programme supporting the refurbishment of a critical facility on the Sellafield site. This role will provide technical leadership across civil and structural engineering activities, leading engineering delivery while ensuring designs meet the highest standards of nuclear safety, quality and compliance.

This role can be done remotely with 1 day in either Warrington or Cumbria every 2 weeks.

This position would suit a Principal Civil or Structural Engineer with extensive experience delivering complex nuclear projects. It will appeal to someone who enjoys leading multidisciplinary engineering teams, providing technical assurance and taking ownership of engineering delivery across major infrastructure projects.
