Job summary

The position offers hybrid working with attendance in Warrington or Cumbria roughly every two weeks, and a contract rate up to £83/hour (Umbrella).

Qualifications

• Senior level civil/structural engineer with extensive nuclear project experience.
• Ability to provide technical assurance and governance across projects.
• Experience mentoring engineering teams and driving engineering excellence.
• Delivery across the full project lifecycle in a major infrastructure programme.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil and structural engineering delivery across major nuclear project work packages.
• Provide technical leadership, design assurance and engineering governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and manage technical interfaces across the project.
• Support construction activities by resolving technical issues and providing expert engineering guidance.
• Ensure engineering deliverables comply with nuclear regulations, quality standards and client requirements.
