Join our Retail, Wealth and Insurance team as a Principal Consultant/Director, where your extensive experience and robust consulting background will be pivotal in shaping innovative solutions for our clients in the financial services sector. With over a decade of experience and a well-established network of clients, you'll be excited about building new client relationships and developing subject matter expertise across our retail, wealth, or insurance divisions.

Your role will encompass strategic leadership, client engagement, and project delivery. You will work closely with our global financial services team, leading a skilled group of professionals, including technical business analysts, to address complex technological challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client relationships, acting as the primary contact and trusted advisor, understanding their evolving needs, and proactively identifying new opportunities within Consulting and the broader firm.
  • Drive proposals and identify new business opportunities within existing and new clients to support the growth of our Retail, Wealth, and Insurance teams, ideally with a leading specialization in one of these areas.
  • Lead and mentor a team of consultants to ensure high-quality project delivery, fostering professional growth and promoting a collaborative, innovative work culture aligned with DC’s values.
  • Contribute to internal initiatives, share knowledge on industry trends, emerging technologies, regulations, and best practices. Lead knowledge-sharing sessions, client events, and industry presentations.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and leadership to develop campaigns and respond to RFPs.

Requirements

Key Skills:

  • Extensive consulting or managed services experience within Retail Banking, Wealth, or Insurance (General and London Markets).
  • Proven experience with RFPs, commercial negotiations, and expanding client opportunities.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to drive outcomes using agile methodologies.
  • A broad client network and a track record of sales opportunity identification.
  • Experience in Management Consulting, Project Management, Change Management, Business Analysis, or related fields within Financial Services.
  • Understanding of Financial Services products, challenges, trends, and regulations.
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.
