Job Description:

EQUANS is looking for a Principal Consultant to join our team on a full-time, permanent, and hybrid basis. The candidate can be based anywhere in Britain, but must be willing to travel to Manchester or London for team meetings. The role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000, a company vehicle or allowance, and a benefits package.

What will you deliver?

Accountabilities

• Supporting effective team and project management, including timelines, costs, profitability, and client needs
• Delivering technical reports and energy audits
• Building and maintaining client relationships
• Supporting training of new starters
• Ensuring compliance with governance processes
• Providing industry thought leadership and representing the team at events

Operations and Solutions Achievement

This is a highly technical position requiring engineering thinking, problem-solving, analytical, and commercial skills. Responsibilities include energy audits, developing energy project models, ensuring quality standards, stakeholder communication, and supporting profitability and risk management.

Sales Achievement

Develop low carbon and energy solutions opportunities, maintain industry knowledge, lead sales collateral development, and participate in marketing campaigns.

Who are we looking for?
