EQUANS is looking for a Senior Consultant / Energy Engineering Manager to join our team in Central London on a hybrid, permanent, and full-time basis. On offer is a competitive salary of £45,000 - £65,000, a company vehicle or allowance, and benefits package. Must be open to travel.

The Energy and Carbon Solutions (ECS) consulting division provides initial engagement to help shape our clients' operational plans to deliver their net zero objectives. We differentiate ourselves by transitioning these plans into engineering management programs through our project delivery and operations teams. Our team comprises commercially minded engineers who create and present attractive, deliverable solutions as a turnkey net zero partner.

We work with clients across manufacturing, industry, corporate, commercial, retail, heritage, transport, and the public sector.

What will you deliver?

Accountabilities

• Supporting effective team and project management, including timelines, costs, profitability, and client needs.
• Delivering technical reports and energy audits.
• Building and maintaining client relationships.
• Training new starters within ECS.
• Ensuring compliance with EQUANS governance.
• Providing industry thought leadership and representing ECS at industry events.

Operations and Solutions Achievement

This role requires high-level engineering thinking, problem-solving, complex analytical, and commercial skills. Responsibilities include energy audits, energy project development, modeling, ensuring quality standards, stakeholder communication, profitability, and risk management.

• Undertaking energy audits and developing energy projects.
• Developing complex numerical models.
• Ensuring quality assurance compliance.
• Communicating with stakeholders.
• Supporting profitability and revenue targets.
• Articulating risks and benefits.
• Collaborating with commercial and finance teams.
• Providing subject matter expertise.

Sales Achievement

Develop low carbon and energy solutions opportunities through sales, including maintaining industry knowledge, thought leadership, market research, marketing collateral, and participating in campaigns.

• Masters in energy engineering preferred.
