Job summary

Catapult is seeking a Principal Computer Vision & Tracking Engineer in London (hybrid) to own the perception stack for our camera-based products. You will guide the evolution of vision data processing, from edge AI inference to 3D tracking, collaborating with embedded platform and applications teams.

You will mentor a small team, ship real-time models, and push for robust, scalable tracking solutions that translate vision into actionable athlete insights.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in complex systems.
• End-to-end ownership of production systems.
• Strong proficiency in Python and C/C++ across full stack.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction of computer vision and tracking.</br>Lead 1-2 engineers, set priorities and review designs.
• Train, optimize, and deploy neural networks for real-time edge inference.
• Extend tracking pipeline to support new movements and analyses.
• Ensure reliability by analyzing tracking accuracy and driving improvements.
