Job summary

London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) is seeking an exceedingly versatile Senior Data Architect for its Digital Identity & Fraud Engineering team. You will shape technical direction, ensure architectural alignment, and mentor team members while partnering with enterprise groups to maximize data value and efficiency.

The role focuses on designing secure, scalable data architectures across cloud services, enabling prescriptive and predictive analytics.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in data management and architecture across on-prem and cloud.
• End-to-end data architecture with ingestion, storage, and relational modeling (SQL, Python).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) and real-time data streams (Kafka, Kinesis).
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, DataBricks).
• Ability to align architecture with customer needs and govern data practices (MDM, security).

Responsibilities

• Design secure, scalable data architecture and lead AWS/Azure adoption.
• Collaborate with data engineers to deliver raw data for modeling.
• Assess data management tech and close gaps to future state.
• Improve data integration, quality, and delivery for business roadmaps.
• Articulate architectural trade-offs and select optimal solutions.
• Mentor staff and build capability within the team.
• Coordinate with customers and devs to enhance data value.
