Job summary

Kier in the UK is seeking a Principal Engineer to lead delivery across temporary works design and related construction services. The role covers civil, structural and geotechnical disciplines with a focus on safety, buildability and innovative problem-solving.

You'll act as Project Lead on multiple complex projects, manage technical scope and collaborate with preconstruction and construction teams from bid to delivery. Chartered Engineer status or equivalent experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Acting as Project Lead for multiple complex projects, managing technical scope, programme, budget and relationships with preconstruction and construction teams, from bid through to delivery
• Producing, checking and reviewing design outputs such as calculations, sketches, drawings, 3D models, reports and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with CDM, SHE procedures and QA processes
• Developing yourself, other individuals and the wider team, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and systems, enabling the business to adapt to current and future challenges.
