Job summary

NUVIA is seeking a Principal Civil/Structural Engineer to lead complex subway design packages, ensuring compliance with nuclear safety standards. You will guide subcontract design, maintain design configurations, and coordinate across teams to integrate layouts within facilities.

With a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and Chartered status (or working towards), you will shape end-to-end design in a regulated environment, including BIM-enabled workflows and governance activities for subway

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer with membership of an accredited body (i.e. ICE) or working towards chartered status.
• Or significant experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage one or more technical design packages to meet requirements.
• Provide technical design guidance and review sub-contract design for compliance.
• Collaborate across engineering functions to integrate designs within the facility layout.
• Maintain the engineering configuration and change control of design intent.
• Support development and governance activities for subway design and remediation.
