Job summary

Highfield Professional Solutions Ltd is supporting a Principal Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineer for a major refurbishment feasibility study at a nuclear facility in Cumbria. The role is hybrid, with 3 days on-site at Westlakes and a rate of £61/hour (Inside IR35) on a 12+ month contract.

You will lead the delivery, guide engineering options, and provide technical assurance across the project lifecycle, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safety, regulatory

Qualifications

• Over 10 years' experience influencing engineering practice in civil, structural and architectural disciplines.
• Experience delivering complex engineering solutions in highly regulated industries.
• Proven ability to lead feasibility studies and refurbishment or infrastructure upgrade projects.
• Excellent stakeholder management and technical leadership.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Familiar with a broad range of engineering technologies and techniques.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of a feasibility study for a major building refurbishment project.
• Develop and assess engineering options aligned with outline project requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the engineering lifecycle.
