Job summary

EET (Essar Energy Transition) is seeking a Principal Civil & Structural Engineer to act as the technical authority across refinery civil, structural, and infrastructure assets at Stanlow Manufacturing Complex, Ellesmere Port. You will lead a team of engineers, ensuring safety, compliance and reliability throughout asset lifecycles.

You will own inspection and integrity strategies, support maintenance, operations, and projects with expert input, and drive continuous improvement, capital planning

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering and Chartered status (or working towards it).
Experience in petrochemical, energy, or similar industries.
Strong knowledge of structural integrity, inspection, and maintenance of aged infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Lead civil & structural governance, standards, and assurance for refinery assets.
Own inspection and integrity strategies (RBI, maintenance planning, lifecycle).
Support maintenance, operations and projects with expert input.
Drive infrastructure reliability, turnaround delivery, and continuous improvement.
