Job summary

First Recruitment Group in Humber refinery seeks a Chartered Civil & Structural Engineer to lead maintenance strategy, new projects, and plant upgrades. You will liaise with consultants, manage temporary works, and ensure discipline standards.

Design experience with Tekla, AutoCAD, and STAAD is essential; strong communication and prioritization skills are required. Join a team focused on reliability, projects and process groups, with opportunities to influence standards and technical directions

Qualifications

Chartered (or working towards) civil/structural engineer with refinery experience.
Proven ability to lead discipline standards and ensure quality & compliance.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Develop surveys and inspection programs for civil/structural assets.
Collaborate with consultants and specialists on project solutions and maintenance.
Gather information from plant owners for solution development.
Apply civil/structural engineering techniques to design and upgrades.
Implement temporary works solutions and safety-related structures.
Contribute to refinery standards (D, E, O, B sections) and MOC guidelines.
