Job summary

Aldwych Consulting Ltd is seeking a Principal Civil Design Engineer in London to lead residential infrastructure projects. You will act as technical lead, delivering high-quality design and ensuring compliance with planning and drainage requirements.

Qualifications

• A degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience in the design and delivery of residential infrastructure projects.
• Strong skills in Causeway Flow, Civil 3D, and Site 3D.
• Ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
• Experience with flood risk assessments and sustainable drainage systems.

Responsibilities

• Delivering flood risk advice to support planning applications (FRA preparation).
• Designing strategic highways and drainage infrastructure.
• Preparing detailed design drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Utilising Civil 3D, Site 3D, and Causeway Flow.
• Designing and submitting SuDS schemes for adoption and/or long-term maintenance.

What You'll Do
