Hawk-Eye Innovations seeks a Principal Software Engineer in Cloud Video Framework to lead development of high-performance C++ systems for live sports video processing. You will work across architecture, tooling, and deployments for world-class replay and officiating platforms.

We value a strong C++ background, multithreading expertise, and a proactive mindset to solve real-time challenges in high-pressure environments, including live encoders and cloud integration.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in modern C++ and multithreaded, low-latency coding.
• Experience with networking protocols and streaming is required.
• Familiarity with Git, Visual Studio and debugging workflows.
• Cloud or multimedia encoding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Engineer next-generation Video Review solutions across sports.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design components.
• Support deployments at live sporting events and field tests.
• Partner with product teams and customers to refine solutions.
• Champion code quality and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead technical discussions and architectural decisions.
• Mentor and line-manage engineers.
