Job summary

Radiant is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to shape the design and development of its GPU orchestration, inference-serving infrastructure, and core APIs. You will set engineering standards, mentor engineers, and collaborate across squads to deliver high-performance AI systems.

You will lead backend architecture, design reviews, and cross-team initiatives while maintaining production-grade reliability and security. This is a hands-on, leadership role driving technical direction.

Qualifications

• Proven expertise in Golang and cloud-native backend development.
• Experience designing and deploying distributed systems and APIs (gRPC, REST).
• Strong knowledge of Kubernetes primitives, deployments and reconciliation loops.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or equivalent high-performance data stores.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows, observability, security and automation best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technically: mentor others and influence across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop core services for the Radiant AI Cloud.
• Architect and build core backend services in Go powering AI infrastructure, networking, inference orchestration, and model lifecycle management.
• Lead engineering design efforts across the backend domain — architecture reviews and system evolution strategies.
• Collaborate with platform and infrastructure to deliver reliable, secure, production-grade services.
• Drive technical standards and mentorship, uphold code quality, observability and maintainability.
• Proactively identify and resolve architectural bottlenecks, performance issues, or scaling challenges.
