Staffordshire Moorlands District Council and High Peak Borough Council are seeking a commercially minded and strategically focused Principal Assets Officer to help shape and manage a diverse portfolio of corporate, commercial and community assets. You'll play a key role in delivering asset investment, compliance, while ensuring our property portfolio continues to provide value for residents and businesses.

Working closely with senior leaders, elected members, partners and contractors, you'll lead on asset management programmes, contract performance, compliance and service improvement, providing expert property advice across the Alliance. You'll also manage and develop a small team, driving high standards and a customer-focused approach.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified MRICS Chartered Surveyor with experience of managing complex property portfolios, leading change and delivering results in a local government or public sector environment.
