Oscar Underhill Recruitment Solutions Ltd is seeking an MRICS-qualified Senior Property Asset Manager to join a large public-sector estate team in the Bristol area. You will lead strategic asset management, advise on capital projects, and supervise Property Managers while coordinating with services occupying operational properties.

The role emphasises proactive estate management, acquisitions and disposals, with a predominantly remote working pattern and occasional on-site attendance as required.

Qualifications

• A recognised MRICS qualification is essential.
• Significant experience in proactive property, estate or asset management within a large complex organisation.
• Experience developing asset management plans and delivering strategic property solutions.
• Proven experience managing acquisitions, disposals, leasehold matters, rationalisation projects or development opportunities.
• Excellent negotiation and advocacy skills to deliver clear professional property advice.
• Ability to negotiate, monitor and complete complex property transactions.
• Strong strategic and analytical skills with ability to propose innovative solutions.
• Experience building relationships with senior stakeholders and public-sector occupiers.
• Experience supervising technical property staff and leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Good working knowledge of property data, GIS and Microsoft Office.

Property Partner (Housing)

Location: Bristol
Salary: £54,495 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday
Working Pattern: Predominantly remote, with office or site attendance as required. Attendance will not normally exceed two days per week, and some weeks may not require any on-site attendance.

The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced MRICS-qualified Senior Property Asset Manager to join an established public-sector organisation, providing strategic property advice and delivering effective solutions across a large operational estate

This is an exciting senior opportunity for a property professional with significant experience of proactive estate and asset management within a large, complex organisation. You will provide strategic property advice and support the effective management of a substantial operational property portfolio.

Acting as the strategic link between the organisation s property function and the services occupying its buildings, you will develop asset management plans, identify property requirements and translate organisational objectives into practical property solutions.

You will lead on projects involving acquisitions, freehold and leasehold disposals, property rationalisation and development advice. The role also includes line-management responsibility for one or more Property Managers.

RICS qualification is essential. Applications cannot be considered from candidates who do not hold a recognised RICS qualification.
