Lorien is seeking a Principal Angular Engineer to shape the future of a large-scale enterprise platform. You will blend hands-on development with technical leadership, guiding architecture, modernisation initiatives and engineering excellence across a complex tech landscape.

In this hybrid role, you will mentor teams, set engineering standards, and ensure performance, security, and reliability across frontend solutions.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of Angular and frontend architecture.
• Experience with Angular CLI, Nx, Webpack.
• Ability to make architectural decisions across complex systems.
• Experience leading engineering standards and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and delivery of complex frontend solutions.
• Drive Angular best practices, code quality, scalability, and maintainability.
• Champion technical modernisation, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Influence architecture and design decisions across multiple teams.
• Identify and resolve technical bottlenecks and dependencies.
• Mentor engineers and elevate technical capability across the organisation.
• Ensure security, performance, and reliability are embedded within all solutions.
• Contribute to architectural governance, standards, and engineering strategy.
