Job summary

Epicor Labs seeks a Principal Software Engineer to join a small, senior team transforming AI concepts into enterprise ERP capabilities. This is a hands‑on role, not management, responsible for production‑grade services and architectural judgement to deliver trusted software.

You will collaborate with data scientists, design distributed systems, and own components from design through production, mentoring others as you go.

Qualifications

• Senior‑level engineering depth in C#/.NET and/or Python with cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience designing and shipping production services for enterprise ERP software.
• Frontend experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and secure, accessible UIs.
• Ability to work with data scientists to turn data into product features.
• Strong architectural communication and production ownership experience.

Responsibilities

• Build PoCs/MVPs and evolve into production‑grade services.
• Design cloud platform services, APIs, and data layers for AI features.
• Ensure production readiness: reliability, observability, security, multi‑tenancy.
• Integrate LLMs and agentic patterns into enterprise software.
• Mentor engineers and raise engineering standards across the team.
