Leonardo seeks Senior or Principal Software Engineers with a strong interest in AI/ML to join its Electronics UK software community. You will contribute to cutting-edge solutions for challenging defence and civilian projects while leveraging AI/ML capabilities.

The role involves collaborating with systems engineers on research projects, developing deployable software that integrates AI/ML and ensuring high-integrity software within a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• Practical experience delivering high-integrity software in a regulated environment.
• Industry experience on Agile projects across the full software life cycle.
• Experience building scalable pipelines, including APIs, vector databases, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and orchestration frameworks.
