Anaplan is seeking a Principal Engineer, AI to drive the full AI stack from model integration to user interfaces. You will build production‑ready GenAI features to empower business users within planning workflows, combining deep ML knowledge with strong software engineering.

You will lead end‑to‑end AI initiatives, optimizing LLMs, APIs, and conversational interfaces while collaborating with data scientists to productionise models and forecasting algorithms.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in AI/ML engineering and production systems.
• End-to-end ML lifecycle, including training, deployment and monitoring.
• Deep knowledge of LLMs, prompt engineering and conversational AI patterns.
• Experience with fine-tuning LLMs for enterprise applications.
• Strong MLOps practices and scalable deployments.
• Experience with agentic frameworks and autonomous architectures.
• Proficiency in Python and modern software development (CI/CD).
• Proven track record delivering complex technical projects on time.

Responsabilités

• Lead architecture, design, and deployment of scalable Generative AI and ML systems to production.
• Develop end-to-end GenAI features including backend services, model integration, monitoring and deployments.
• Integrate and optimise LLMs for business planning use cases.
• Build conversational interfaces and agentic workflows for natural language planning tasks.
• Implement evaluation frameworks for GenAI feature quality (accuracy, latency, user satisfaction).
• Design APIs exposing AI capabilities to Anaplan’s platform and third‑party integrations.
• Optimize model inference pipelines for performance, cost, and scalability.
• Implement monitoring and observability for GenAI systems, tracking usage and errors.
• Collaborate with data scientists to productionise ML models and forecasting algorithms.
