Job summary

Becrypt Ltd is seeking a Principal Architect – AI to lead the organisation's AI strategy across engineering, product, IT and operations. This role is a hands-on, individual contributor position focused on policy, risk, and secure, scalable AI platforms.

You will design and govern AI-related systems, mitigate risks, and work with cross-functional teams to implement secure, compliant AI capabilities at Becrypt.

Qualifications

• Senior-level architectural experience across platforms and services.
• Experience designing policy-based authorisation and secure-by-design controls.
• Ability to influence engineering, product, and IT without direct line management.
• Hands-on coding and system integration with AI gateways and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assess business processes to identify AI value, risks and improvements.
• Act as technical authority on AI across Becrypt, working directly with engineering teams.
• Develop AI governance, risk assessment and compliance frameworks.
• Design and build AI platforms and gateway services using containerised environments.
• Prototype and evaluate AI technologies for security, maintainability and scalability.
