Job summary

Protect Group is seeking an AI Architect to lead end-to-end AI platform design, governance, and production readiness. This hands-on role collaborates with the Data Science team to deliver reliable, secure, and cost-conscious AI solutions across products and processes.

You will set reference architectures for ML, generative AI, RAG, and agentic systems, select reusable platforms, and ensure quality and operational readiness while aligning with business goals. Strong business acumen is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in AI architecture and building AI solutions.
• Experience leading AI projects across products and internal processes.
• Strong governance, security, and cost-awareness for AI deployments.
• Ability to communicate strategy and concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Awareness of GDPR and data regulations in AI initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the company’s AI vision and support all aspects of AI development.
• Contribute to product roadmap development and delivery with leadership input.
• Advise other departments on technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• Discover and implement new methodologies that yield competitive advantage.
• Develop technical and AI aspects of the company’s strategy to align with business objectives.
• Help ingraining technology and AI to deliver and maximise profitability.
• Conduct robust testing and quality assurance processes.
• Apply security and governance best practices across AI solutions.
• Incorporate stakeholder feedback to inform improvements.
