Job summary

State Street is seeking a Vice President to lead Prime Services Operations, overseeing regional teams and the end-to-end operations of borrowing, lending, collateral, and settlement. You will drive efficiency, risk mitigation, and scalable processes while coordinating with business partners globally.

The role requires a strong background in Prime Services operations, leadership skills, and proven ability to manage complex regulatory and client-driven requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field preferred.
• 8–10+ years of experience in financial services operations, with focus on Prime Services and principal trading.
• Strong understanding of Prime Services products and processes (trade lifecycle management, settlement, collateral, corporate actions, vendors).

Responsibilities

• Provide governance/oversight of regional teams functions/controls/operating model.
• Translate priorities into execution plans; document material issues/risks.
• Track KRIs/KPIs and performance against objectives.
• Own hub performance, efficiency, and risk across regions.
• Prepare for new products, tech changes, and regulatory updates.
• Provide executive reporting on operational health, risks and initiatives.
• Oversee daily Prime Services trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and billing.
• Manage collateral usage, margin calls, and collateral disputes.
• Identify and mitigate operational risks and ensure strong internal controls.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and audits are supported.
• Lead stakeholder collaboration with Front Office, Risk, Treasury, Finance, and Tech.
• Mentor operations staff and promote accountability.
