Job summary

Citi technology is seeking an IT professional to join the Production Services team in Belfast. The role focuses on supporting the Prime Finance Application stack, covering Prime brokerage and Securities Lending streams.

You will work to stabilize production, resolve incidents, and drive improvements in collaboration with teams across the globe. The role involves monitoring, incident resolution, and proactive changes to ensure continuous operation during business hours.

Qualifications

• Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Strong SQL skills and ability to write complex queries.
• Knowledge of financial messaging technologies (e.g., Solace, MQ, Kafka).
• Experience with monitoring and automation tools (Autosys, Geneos).
• Understanding of Securities Lending domain is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct user support for Prime Applications.
• Handle Prime business issues and requests.
• Develop, maintain and enhance monitoring solutions.
• Mange requests from central ticketing queue during core hours.
• Ensure platform is operational during business hours.
• Onboard new systems for support.
• Complete stability projects to improve operations.
• Collaborate with development teams on change management and resilient solutions.
