Mendip Green Primary School in Weston-super-Mare is seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support teachers across the primary age range, delivering high-quality learning experiences with academic and pastoral support. This role emphasises inclusion and safeguarding within a nurturing environment.

The successful candidate will have 3 GCSEs (including English and Maths), SEND experience, strong communication skills and a Level 3 TA qualification or equivalent.

Formación

• GCSEs English and Maths at grade C/4 or above.
• Experience in a school, educational, childcare or youth support setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification or NVQ/VRQ Level 3 or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Support the planning, preparation and delivery of engaging lessons.
• Work with individual pupils, small intervention groups and whole classes.
• Deliver targeted learning support to help pupils achieve academic goals.
• Assist with classroom behaviour management and pupil engagement.
• Prepare educational resources and learning materials.
• Support pupils with a range of learning needs, including SEND.
• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff.
• Promote safeguarding, inclusion, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
