Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting experienced Primary School Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary schools in the East Midlands. Roles can be full-time or part-time, with flexible opportunities to suit your availability.

You will support pupils, assist with lessons, and provide targeted help where needed. For SEN roles, you will support children with additional needs in an inclusive setting, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children is essential.
  • A positive, caring attitude and proactive approach.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Availability between 8:30am and 3:30pm.

Responsibilities

Aspire People is currently recruiting experienced and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistants and SEN Teaching Assistants to work in a range of welcoming primary schools.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:



  • Support pupils in the classroom to help them achieve their full potential.

  • Work alongside class teachers to deliver engaging lessons and activities.

  • Provide one-to-one or small group support where required.

  • For SEN roles, support children with additional needs, helping them access learning in a positive and inclusive environment.

  • Promote a safe, supportive, and nurturing learning environment.


Essential Requirements


  • Previous experience working with children is essential.

  • A positive, caring, and proactive attitude.

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

  • A passion for supporting children's learning and development.

  • Must be available to work between 8:30am and 3:30pm.

  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, or willingness to obtain one.
