Teaching Personnel in Southport is seeking a motivated full-time Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS to KS2 in welcoming primary schools. The role includes general classroom help and targeted SEN support.

You will help pupils engage and progress, work with teachers and support staff, and have opportunities for long-term placements with potential permanent roles. All applicants must have suitable qualifications and training, with DBS checks provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in school, childcare or care setting.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Confidence supporting children with additional needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS to Year 6.
• Providing classroom and targeted SEN support.
