Job summary

Teaching Personnel in Southport is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support pupils across EYFS to Year 6 in welcoming primary schools. This full-time role covers general classroom assistance and targeted SEN support.

You will help foster pupil engagement, confidence and progress, work alongside teachers and support staff, and benefit from long-term placements with potential for permanent roles, plus access to free CPD and consultant support.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in a school, childcare or care setting.
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Confidence supporting children with additional needs.
