Aspire People is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants for Rochdale. Opportunities include long-term placements, short-term assignments and day-to-day supply work across a range of primary schools. Competitive rates of pay are offered based on experience and assignment.

Ideal candidates will hold a relevant TA qualification, have the right to work in the UK, and hold a DBS or be willing to obtain one. References, safeguarding training and a proactive, collaborative approach are highly regarded.

Qualifications

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent recognised qualification.
• The right to work in the UK.
• A valid DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new DBS check.
• References covering the last two years of employment, education or relevant activity, as applicable.
• CPD certificates or additional training such as safeguarding, paediatric first aid, SEND awareness or behaviour management.
• A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A flexible, proactive and positive approach to supporting pupils and classroom staff.
