Job summary

Ringstead CE Primary is seeking a friendly Teaching Assistant to work with our primary pupils. You will supervise and support pupils in the learning environment and assist the teacher with pupil education.

We value a safe, supportive, Christian ethos-driven school community. The successful candidate will engage in CPD, safeguarding training, and contribute to a varied curriculum while working 15 hours per week over 38 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Is enthusiastic, approachable and friendly.
• Will ensure all children feel safe, happy and able to learn.
• Will create a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
• Will support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour following the school's Behaviour Policy.
• Is supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.
• Understands our children and community and builds respectful relationships while maintaining confidentiality and following the Code of Conduct.
• Prepared to undertake CPD including First Aid and Safeguarding training.
• Understands the importance of Child Protection and safeguarding welfare.
