Job summary

Ringstead Church of England Primary School is seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work as part of a team with our teachers to support primary pupils in both learning and pastoral needs. The role involves supervising pupils and assisting the class teacher with implementing pupil education.

We value a welcoming, Christian ethos and encourage CPD, including First Aid and safeguarding training, to support pupils’ welfare and learning.

Qualifications

• Enthusiastic, approachable and friendly.
• Will ensure all children feel safe, happy and able to learn.
• Will create a purposeful, orderly and supportive learning environment.
• Will support the teacher in managing pupil behaviour and following the Behaviour Policy.
• Prepared to undertake appropriate CPD including First Aid and safeguarding training.
