Qualifications

• Experience with primary-aged children in an educational setting.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or higher.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, nurturing and flexible approach to supporting learners.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues and families.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to contribute to school life.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in the classroom to access learning and achieve targets.
• Work with groups and individuals to deliver targeted interventions.
• Assist teachers with resources and classroom activities.
• Support pupils with varying educational, social and emotional needs.
• Foster positive behaviour and a safe, inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage pupil confidence, independence and participation.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and provide feedback to staff.
• Contribute to safeguarding and pupil welfare.
