Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd is seeking a dedicated Primary Teaching Assistant for a Norfolk primary school. This full-time, long-term role starts November 2026 and supports pupils aged 4–11 with individual and small-group assistance.

You will help deliver engaging literacy, numeracy and wider curriculum activities, prepare resources, and promote a safe, inclusive learning environment. Prior school experience and strong communication are desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children is desirable.
• Experience in a school or educational setting is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring and adaptable approach to learning.
