Job summary

Step Into Teaching is seeking a Graduate Teaching Assistant for a nurturing primary school in Walton-on-Thames. You will support learners with mixed abilities, helping them feel inspired, confident and happy within the classroom.

This full-time role runs Monday to Friday with September start. You will have opportunities for 1:1 and small group sessions and will be supported by our pre-teacher training programme to prepare you for future teacher training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Provide classroom support to learners with mixed abilities and needs.
• Assist with ongoing learning activities and opportunities for SEN support.
• Collaborate with teachers to foster a positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to learners with mixed abilities and needs within the classroom.
• Run 1:1 and small group sessions outside of class to support learning.
• Work with experienced teachers in a busy primary school setting.
