Protocol Education is seeking a motivated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Redhill. The role involves supporting the class teacher, working one-to-one and in small groups, and helping create a positive, safe learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have a caring, patient approach with strong communication and teamwork skills, and a passion for supporting children’s education. Start date September 2026 (or sooner) with full-time, long-term permanent prospects.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people is desirable.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Work with pupils on a one-to-one basis and in small groups.
• Help create a positive, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Encourage pupils' confidence, independence, and participation.
• Support children with a range of learning needs, including SEN where required.
