Job summary

Envision Education is recruiting an Unqualified Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in High Wycombe for an immediate start. Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm. The role focuses on supporting pupils with learning activities, assisting the class teacher, and helping create a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

Recent experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting.
Experience supporting children with SEND is desirable but not essential.
A genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The ability to commute to or work within the High Wycombe area.

Responsibilities

Support primary-aged pupils with their learning and classroom activities.
Work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging and inclusive lessons.
Help create a positive, safe and supportive learning environment.
Provide one-to-one and small group support where required.
Support pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs.
Encourage confidence, independence and positive behaviour throughout the school day.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of pupils both inside and outside the classroom.
