Job summary

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Level 3) for Welton Primary School. The role is part-time (31.25 hours per week) and runs Monday to Friday, 8:45am to 3:30pm, within Welton, HU15 1TJ.

You will supervise classes, deliver lessons, build rapport with pupils, and support vulnerable children while working closely with teaching staff to maintain a calm, purposeful learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise classes across the school, delivering teacher-set lessons with confidence
• Build quick, genuine rapport with children of all ages and abilities
• Champion every child, especially those who are vulnerable, those who find school hard, and those who need an extra bit of patience and belief
• Work closely with teachers and our school team
