Job summary

North Walkden Primary is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our KS1 team. You will support phonics and reading, help groups progress, and assist colleagues across the school. The role requires adaptability, strong administration, and a collaborative approach.

Term-time only, 35 hours per week, fixed-term contract to July 2027, starting 4 January 2027. We offer a caring school community, opportunities for professional development, and a supportive governance structure.

Qualifications

• Experience in phonics and reading support.
• Ability to support groups of pupils to make progress.
• Willingness to work across the school and support colleagues.
• Strong administration and interpersonal skills.
