Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience delivering targeted classroom support to help pupils access learning.
• Ability to tailor assistance for pupils requiring additional support.
• Strong collaboration with teachers, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals and small groups to access learning and make progress in the classrooms
• Deliver planned learning activities under teacher direction, adapting support to pupils' needs
• Promote inclusion, independence, positive behaviour and engagement in learning
• Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND and other additional needs, including social and emotional development
• Monitor, record and feedback on pupil progress, while maintaining positive relationships with families, colleagues and external professionals
