Job summary

Milk Education is seeking qualified Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support pupils across local mainstream primary schools in Bishop Auckland. The roles offer day-to-day, short-term and long-term placements with competitive pay and a dedicated consultant to assist throughout your journey.

We welcome applicants with prior experience working with children and a patient, proactive, adaptable approach. All roles involve safeguarding checks to ensure pupil welfare.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification required.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Patient, proactive and adaptable approach.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with their learning and development in mainstream primary schools.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support.
• Help children build confidence, independence and positive learning habits.
• Support pupils with SEN and SEMH needs where required.
• Work with teachers to create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.
