Job summary

Milk Education is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in welcoming primary schools across Sheffield. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, assist with literacy and numeracy, and help create a positive learning environment.

Ideal candidates have UK-based school experience, a Level 2/3 TA qualification (or equivalent), and strong communication and teamwork skills. Roles offer flexible day-to-day, short-term and longer placements with dedicated consultant support.

Qualifications

• Has previous UK-based school experience.
• Holds Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification, or equivalent.
• Passionate about supporting children's learning.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, reliable and adaptable.
• Confident supporting pupils in a busy primary school.

Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher with the delivery of engaging lessons.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils to develop their learning.
• Assist children with literacy, numeracy and wider classroom activities.
• Support pupils with additional needs, including SEND, where required.
• Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
• Promote positive behaviour, confidence and independence.
