Job summary

Education People is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant for an Ofsted Outstanding primary school in Upton Noble. The role covers the full school day, supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom to help them flourish academically, socially and emotionally.

The position offers a stable, full-time schedule (08:30–15:30) with a competitive daily rate and starts in September 2026, welcoming a team-focused candidate who values wellbeing and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Has previous experience working with children in a primary setting.
• Is patient, reliable and passionate about supporting young learners.
• Can work effectively as part of a team.
• Holds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update service.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils within class, on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
• Helping to create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs where required.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
