Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support pupils in mainstream primary schools across the UK. You will collaborate with class teachers to foster a positive learning environment and help learners access lessons across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

Qualifications

• Have previous experience working within a primary school setting
• Be confident supporting children across different primary age groups
• Have a positive, patient and professional approach
• Be able to adapt quickly to different classroom environments
• Work effectively as part of a wider school team
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
• Be able to provide references covering recent school-based employment

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Providing classroom support to teachers throughout the school day
• Delivering 1:1 and small group interventions
• Supporting pupils with varying learning needs
• Encouraging positive behaviour and participation in lessons
• Preparing classroom resources and assisting with daily classroom routines
