Randstad Education is recruiting Primary Teaching Assistants to support staff and inspire pupils across Crawly.

Qualifications

Experience supporting children or young people in schools, nurseries, youth clubs, coaching, or care.
Positive, adaptable mindset and strong interpersonal skills.
Good proficiency in core Primary English and Maths.
An Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
Right to work in the UK and reliable access to Crawly schools.

Responsibilities

Partner with primary class teachers to deliver engaging learning activities and keep pupils on task.
Run targeted reading, phonics, and numeracy booster sessions with individuals or small groups.
Deliver dedicated 1:1 assistance to children with SEN (including Autism, ADHD, and SEMH needs).
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported.
Assist with lesson prep, creative displays, and break-time monitoring.
