Hays Education is supporting friendly primary schools across Kings Heath and the wider B12 area as they prepare for the new academic year. We are looking for caring, dependable Teaching Assistants who can become a valued part of school life from September 2026.You may already have classroom experience, or you might be looking to build on your work with children in another setting.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children in a school, nursery, childcare, youth work or similar.
• Enjoy helping children learn, grow and feel confident.
• Strong communication and teamwork.
• Dependable, flexible and proactive.
• Ideally Level 2/3 TA or CACHE/NVQ qualification.

Responsibilities

• Support learning and activities across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Guide small groups through focused tasks.
• Provide individual support to pupils needing extra encouragement.
• Help children develop confidence, independence and learning habits.
• Contribute to a calm, welcoming classroom.
• Support classroom organisation and routines.
